Having never even heard of this character previously, I had no idea of the atrocious content to which I was going to expose myself to. However, having sampled the 'goods' on this solitary occasion, I returned the DVD to my contact at the earliest possible opportunity, and made my feelings known about the revulsion I felt having witnessed this material first hand.

If you see Hardcore's work as breaking sexual taboos then presumably you'd be turned on by any drama which features scenes of domestic violence. Instead of watching porn why don't you just edit together what you would consider to be the best bits of a film such as 'Nil By Mouth'. I think it would serve the same purpose for you.
