".. nor do I use excuses to his mental powers to try to prove he could not have done it.."
But you're prepared to be led by the nose by the insinuations and inuendo of circumstantial 'evidence'.
Btw .. did you not read those posts which pointed out that the burden of proof is the prosecution's and not the defence ?

Fucking hell Alice, get it through your thick fucking head that there was no DNA evidence. None. How fucking hard is it for you to get this through your thick skull? With cretins like you at large in society, it's no wonder juries can find innocent people guilty. Moron.

"They did prove it which is why he was convicted, as usual his weasel defence lawyers have managed to shed so much doubt on the DNA, which can be and was argued for both ways by various experts interpretation, in the original trial that it's being thrown out has impacted on the jury, who have decided to ignore all the evidence against him at the defence's urging.
As Robches says there was no dna, just i miniscule forensic finding, that could have come from anywhere, he's not guilty of commiting this crime.

Alice only does his own brand of warped conjecture and supposition, Robches. He treats fact and reason with complete indifference if they constrain his own thought processes.
Don't take it personally.

I always believed he didn't murder Jill Dando. The prosecution's case was so slight it would ultimately lead the the conviction being overturned.
Yes George is a loner, yes he does/did have a celebrity fixation, yes he has been described as a "weirdo" - but this doesn't categorise him as a murderer.
Someone with an IQ of 75 (the lowest 5% of the population), extremely limited ability and aptitude could not have the skill and guile to commit the perfect crime.

To michaeldon, the Serb thing is explained by the Daily Telegraph as follows:
"Three days before the killing, British planes bombed Television Serbia in Belgrade, owned by Serb leader Slobodan Milosevic, killing 16 employees.
A caller to BBC TV Centre on the morning after the murder, speaking with an Eastern European accent, claimed it was revenge for the Belgrade bombing. He said the next person to be killed would be Tony Hall, chief executive of BBC News. The threat was treated so seriously that for the next six weeks Mr Hall and his family were placed under round-the-clock protection. Israeli intelligence had warned Britain that Serbian "hit" teams had been sent to the UK to murder "soft" targets in revenge for the bombing. Miss Dando had fronted a high-profile BBC appeal which raised ?1 million in 24 hours for Kosovan Albanian refugees three weeks before her death, making her a possible target. Interpol also received information from an anonymous informant that the Serb warlord Arkan was behind the Dando killing."

Jill Dando was, at the time of her death, the 'face' of BBC News. She had just appeared on a charity broadcast for relief for Kosovo.
The RAF had managed to bomb the Belgrade television centre during the Balkan wars and had killed many journalists- including the 'face' of Serbian state television.
There is your motive-and the kind of trained killer who could have carried out this act.
The litmus test for me if that despite trawling the Thames, waste bins nearby and digging up George's house and garden, no gun has ever been found.
George simply did not have the intelligence to do this coolly and calmly....I believe it was the Serbian secret service and have done for some time.

Hmmnnn Eastern Europeans coming over here to commit state endorsed murder...thats never happened before...
I just wish the police would do their jobs and investicate crimes instead of going for the easiest person to fit-up..
Can't see anyone being convicted of this now...
