What about Rio Ferdinand then?
He's a drug cheat but he stills play for the national team...
I know different sports have different rules but on a moral stand point.

Rio, as much as I detest his boorish behaviour didn't fail a drug test, he missed one.
Its well-known that he 'deliberately' missed it as he had 'charlie' in his system and rather than get caught and an imminent 2 year ban, he gambled and took a 10 month ban for missing it.
Its given him a kick up the arse to the point he took his role more seriously and played better, although still a prize cunt if you ask me..........and before anyone has a pop at me for 'dissing' Rio, I am quite happy to take it on the chin that we (Chelsea) had 2 players caught with 'charlie' in their system, Adrian Mutu and Mark Bosnich, and we did the right thing and fucked 'em both off.

The West London of my youth is now on dvd

I've met the man on the street............and he's a cunt

That was my point though ace, you say "it's well known etc", so you mean he HAD taken a far harder drug, so he got banned and was then allowed to play on, making him a better player, so why not Chambers?

Isn't it just simply about the BOA has a lifetime ban, the FA doesn't?

Chambers did the crime fully knowing what the 'time' was if he got caught, then whinged that the time was too harsh.

I dont know. So if your caught by the FA with a syringe sticking out of your arm, you dont get a lifetime ban, but with athletics you do? that would not surprise me, you can do a prison term for GBH, the come out and carry on as normal in football.

He's allowed to compete (as he served his ban), just not at the Olympics. Rio would be banned as well from that.
