I've been on & off this forum for 7/8 years with various emails disclosed and I've only been 'spammed'(for want of a better description)once by someone on this board in 2003 so its not widespread.




Bottom line is if you dont wish to be spammed dont reveal your email online

Can i ask are you in a cafe or is it your own PC?As i get Vaiagra crap a lot etc i just delete the emails Hotmail is worse i get abbey national and the other banks asking me to verify my account and i dont even have a account with the banks in question.AndAgain wrote:

Whenever I post on this forum, I am sure to get four or five spam mails. Mostly from girls who 'like my profile' and want to chat with me, but also from people who think I need Viagra. But recently I received a link to a database of American psychiatrists. I am still trying to figure out why I need a psychiatrist, and an American one at that.
