>It started at Chelsea on 28th May 2006. You don't really think Mourinho bought Schevchenko, do you?

It was always said that Deadly Doug (Doug Ellis) at Aston Villa brough in a few players that the various managers did not want.

I think David Ginola and Stan Collymore were two that were mentioned.

I'm completely astonished at this decision. Fair enough City's form since christmas hasn't been the same since the first half the season and last week's loss to Fulham was a big blow especially being 2 up at half time and bossing the game. All City fans know Sven's team is in its embryonic stage anyway and he's also given 2nd chances to players still there from Keegan's reign just to see what he's got. He knows whats needed to move the club forward over the next couple of years. Shinawatra is being a belligerent twat by not admitting he's wrong. All those transfers last summer have yet to be paid for and were bank rolled from the Sky TV money not his. Also from what I gather, he won't listen to the club's officials either. Sounds like he's going to ruin City and more than likely rue the day he set foot in Manchester. We can only hope he'll listen to reason, behave like the gentleman he so wants to be seen as and apologises to Sven and gives him the space to do his job effectively. On the other hand theres more chance of seeing Alex Ferguson in a City top...

Nope, an urban myth methinks.....Jose is a LOT of things, but not a whore.
I see him waiting on Rijkaard to be axed from Barca soon and will step into that role taking Lamps and The Drog along.........he hasn't signed anything for Milan as yet, despite what the media say.
On a lighter note, I thought Sven was the kiss of death at England, but even he doesn't deserve this shoddy treatment at Man City
