Dad's Army!!

PEOPLE think Stephen Hawking is so clever, but when you ask him a question and he is typing in the answer on his little screen, how do we know he isn't just looking up the answer on the Internet?

i watched the first series of gavin & stacey but have sadly missed the second.
i do agree it is very well written but i suppose it's glassed more as a drama than 'sitcom'
(i should of but sitcom in the title of this thread)

shameless is brilliant in my opinion and this last series (which has gone into more detail with the other characters) has been the best say far, shame it has come to a end now
but ch4 always state that it is a drama too

For me - My Name Is Earl is the best comedy show on TV at the moment. It's just a shame they're mostly Scientologists.

It hasn't made it to the UK yet, but I have seen the US version of The Office - it's even better than the original

Recent shows I love are Green Wing and the IT Crowd

I'd also echo the Dad's Army mentions and raise you a Yes, (Prime) Minister - heading towards 30 years old and just as relevant and topical as it was when first shown.

I have to agree with Dave Wells: HIGNFY. QI can be quite good too, if Bill Bailey is on it.

I've not watched Gavin or Stacey yet, so can't comment.

This won't be popular with you lot, but as I'm a big Harry Hill fan, I love TV Burp, even though the silliness is now being watered down by a prime-time slot and Hill selling out completely to mainstream family-friendly TV.

Still, on TV at the moment: rarely a belly laugh to be had from me, how I miss Father Ted /The Day Today/ Alan Partridge from the 90s. !tears!
