The cooked so called meat at Tesco deli is shite - it's like plastic
They have opened a lidl near us about 250 yards from Tesco
and they must have taken a load of trade off Tesco
Only problem I find is that some people are such snobs that they
won't go into a lidl - they should because the quality is fine
Not been to an aldi but I stay away from Netto
Although went into a netto in Tenerfife and is was better than
any UK supermarket that you could name

On top of all that a large slice of the profits ends up in the pockets of Dame Shirley Porter, reason enough not to shop at Tesco.

M & S cooked chicken, smoked samon and pasta salads,,,, The staff feel proud to work there so don't have a massive chip on their shoulder. Also their suits fit, the size is the size or a fraction on the big, nothing worse than feeling the pinch.

Always go watrose (after Lidl where i get my bulk stuff from) for:
Chorley cakes
Roasted Coffee ice cream
And if i am feeling indulgent some tapa's and Calves liver
When you see staff stocking fresh food wearing disposable gloves you know they are metculous about standards!!!
All reduced food is sold cheap the day before the sell by date too...
After the BBC whstleblower program that showed the atrocious practices Sainsbury and Tesco's staff had for the fresh food counters (making up fridge/freezer temperatures... selling seafood well out of date) i dont want to shop there anymore!!!

Exactamundo ATS. We're in Surrey and Lidl is empty half the time (except when the chavs get their benefits cheque). Our neighbours hadn't been in there because they thought that the Lidl name meant cheap and nasty. They had no idea it was a German chain. Now they go in there and they preach to us about how good it is!

M & S food is a cheat. It's really over priced and it's not as good as Waitrose even though you would think it would be. It's a big con. Re package cheap Tesco stuff and charge a fortune for it.
