Loved John Simm as the Master. Easily the greatest actor of his generation an he managed to pull it off without being too campy like previous incarnations. We have to remember that this is Doctor Who for a new Generation, a young doctor needs a young Master to contend with. I seriously doubt the Master is gone for good, RTD has announced that he will be back (perhaps as early as next season). Dunno who will play him if they manage to bring him back, I heard a rumour that John Simm signed up for a bunch of appearances in season 4 so if they could some how bring back the Master as John "Sam Tyler" Simm then I'd be more than happy. By the way Scissor Scistors Musical bit was inspired and hilarious to see Simm dancing around like a School Boy. I know alot of Hardcore Who fans cringe at putting pop music and pop culture references in the new series but I kind of like it...Oh and what happened to the Masters Tardis? Didn't he have one in the early incarnations?

I watched it and sort of enjoyed it until the 'psychic energy' restored the Doctor. What a fucking cop out.
I'm a life long whovian but I feel Roger Delgado might have been turning in his grave tonight.
Also, what's all the bollocks about the Titanic crashing into the control room?
Any 'Who' fan knows that the outside of the Tardis is almost indestuctable and the that the inside of the Tardis lies in another dimension.
It looks like the reports of Freema Agyeman not being in the entire next series may be true. According the top Doctor Who news site Outpost Gallifrey, RTD and Auntie Beeb are releasing a statement about her involvement next week, but it does look like she's going to be in Torchwood.
RTD......please leaving the writing to the others and just stay on as executive producer.

Torchwood, eh? With all that swearing and nudity and sexual shenanigans.
Can't see that, I'm afraid. Captain Jack might get away with it, but not Martha.

Actually True Blue I agree with you there, the 'psychic energy' Bollocks was a total cop out. Who would like to see a new Doctor after Season 4? As much as I love Tennant I can't see him staying past season 4, there were even rumours he wouldn't see the end of season 4 and leave midway. If he does go who will be the next Doctor? Here are some suggestions:
#Russel Brand- a little annoying maybe but I think he's funny and would definately give a crazy eccentric look to the role.
# Chris Marshall- Ginger and whacky, plus has those Tom Bakerish mad stary eyes.
#Julian Rhind-Tutt- another ginger guy, from green wing. Very good at delivering one liners and the most laid back actor in the country.
#Jimi Mistry- Great name and about bloody time we had a Doctor with dark skin. Would also keep in with the trend of having a bit of a dishy (appologies for the use of the word dishy) actor to play the Doctor.
Anyone want to comment on these suggestions or have any of there own?

I'm just thinking about levels of naughtiness, NB. I'd like to see Martha in Torchwood, but the kiddiewinks might be upset if there was a degree of raunch involved.

If Russell Fuckhole Talentless Waste Of Space Brand goes anywhere near the show, you can kiss it goodbye.

And that's effin' swearing, that is.
Why not go the whole hog, and get the shouty monster Davina McCall as the companion, and Vernon Kay as K9.

Ha ha, fair point Caractacus, probably wouldn't work. I notice he has tried his hand at acting lately so Who knows. A lot of people hate him with a passion but I like his stand up and think although not in the same league as Eddie Izzard or Ross Noble a pretty good Surrealist comic.... Hey there's an idea
#Eddie Izzard- I'd like top see him as the Doctor or Master perhaps.
# Ross Noble- the first Geordie Doctor maybe?
