As a black man myself I whole heartly agree! Really over here though as much as we try to strive to better our lives for both black and white people and children, black children are FAR behind the eight ball and since the 1970s (I was born in 1966) those parents and the 1980s parents really are the ones who dropped the ball thus the example of the kind of youth we have today, news don't matter and is boring to them, they want they latest evrything, etc.

Completely agree with you about the boomer generation dropping the parenting ball.

Don't think it is a colour thing or even a class thing, lots of middle class brats about these days as well.

Oh yeah. No arguement there. The thing is that if society is bad, when it trickles down, the poor and namely blacks do worse.

This is what the so called liberal and left wing intellectuals seem blind to. The ideas they advocate actually hurt the poorest communities the most.

Over here in the states the left are SUPPOSE to help the poor but ever so slowly and the conservative right really destroyed the poor in the 1980s.
