I don't think the Spice Girls movie was much of a hit, it cost $25 million and according to the only figures I can find did $29 million.

I thought it was a mixed bag, there were some funny bits in it. The wrestling was hilarious, I can see why some wouldn't like, but I thought it was fuckin hilarious.

Borat at feature length was a bit of a stretch, parts sagged and there was some filler in there.

The finale would be hilarious if real, but I heard the US press ran a story confirming it was staged, so there's really no point to it if staged, the whole joke is that the victims aren't in on the gag. If they are, it ceases to be funny.
