Flateric trots out the typical line "You because its findings agree with your own rabid anti-American, pro-Muslim sentiments?"
Same old same old attack from the Right.
Yeah, and we all have posters of Osama on our bedroom walls.

SBB's posts often contain much in the way of conspiracist twaddle, but at least he argues his case. All you seem to do mart is slag off other people and their opinions without adding to the discussion yourself in any positive way whatsoever.
Do you actually HAVE an opinion on anything, mart? And if so, why not enlighten us with your wisdom?

Maybe this needs another thread, but here are some of my favourite tired old right-wing cliches
- "Muslim loving" - an updated form of the old favourite, nigger-lover (which means anyone who opposes lynching).
- "Anti-American" - anyone who doesn't like what America does to the world (which these days is almost anyone)
- "Self-hating" - anyone who doesn't automatically support what their own country/race does (e.g. a Jew who questions Israeli policy or a British person who thinks the empire wasn't very nice.
- "PC" - this needs a whole thread to itself. Anyone who opposes my own personal prejudices. For example if I hate gays then anyone tells me off for hating gays is PC. Oh, how I miss the old days when bigots could be bigots without having to justify their bigotry.
- "Liberal" - anyone who questions whether a war, a lynching, etc. is strictly necessary. Anyone who thinks too much, period. See also: pinko, commie, leftie, trot, leninist, marxist, traitor, etc.
- "OK, we were wrong, but now we have to support the troops." - No we don't.
- "Patriot" - raving nazi.
- "Britain is full" - I hate foreigners.
- "We're handing our sovereignty to Brussels" - but handing our sovereignty to Washington is OK, right?
- "Guardian reading, muesli eating, etc." - someone who can spell big words (see Liberal).
- "There's no proof that global warming is man made" - I am either, a) stupid, or b) an oil company executive.
Anyone got any more?

Bollocks. 1) Most people opposed the war: about 60% nationwide and 75% of Londoners (who tend to be more clued-up).
I think you better substitute the words "clued-up" to "foreign" ... just where exactly to you get all these matter of fact bullshit sayings??
I am quite frankly more interested in how many British casualties this conflict has caused and always had the feeling from the onset that has maybe been proved pretty accurate that these Iraqis were not worth saving from themselves in the first place, I think most of us would quite happily see them rot in hell.

I've already asked - in previous threads- without success. [img]

When you say "most of us", are you referring to the Weston-Super-Mare chapter of the Ku Klux Klan?

How about - 'Londoners (who tend to be more clued-up).'
or - 'Whites are attacking Muslims, not the other way around'
or - 'Weston-Super-Mare chapter of the klu-klux-clan'
or the dumbest - 'America has called more Iraqis than Saddam ever did.'
Thats just from this thread SBB. It seems we all 'generalize' & deal out stupid assumptions hey?

Not sure what skin colour or religion has to do with it Strictlybroadband, I was basing my comment on what I think of the majority of Iraqis and not their religious ideas or beliefs, why must you always raise the idea that the west hates muslims on these forums ... you seem very paranoid for some reason??
