Thats one thing thats still alive & well today(at least in one state of Australia)-recycling cans/bottles for cash

Used to spend all my teenage years at the rugby(while the old man was playing) collecting beer/soft drink cans and loading them into the boot of the car.He got to clean up the putrid smell and I got the cash-SWEET

What will it be?...warm milk thats been in the sun for the past half an hour or
pretend to drink it and get your calcium hit from the local deli via a dozen milky bars looking for the stickers

Milky bars every time and I never even came close to becoming OBESE
though consumption wise I gave it a nudge

Its easy to see why we all preferred outside to inside(except for saturday morning cartoons & sunday nights-Countdown)given the joke that was gameing in the home pre 1990s ie atari

cheers
