I wonder what a "Most wanted" list published by the Serious Fraud Office would look like?

Multi ethnic most probably. After all black people, asian people and chinese people are all involved in business too and some of these people will fall foul of the law as well as white people. Dare I venture that you would like us to believe such a list would comprise just white people?

Anyway since when did a fraud offence such as fixing a VAT return ever constitute a danger to the public?

I'm like a dog with a bone with you...boy.

Hoo boy, I'm probably going to sound tightly wound up here bu treading Guilberts response can also be interpreted in the wrong way:

"While I am not stupid enough to think that all black or Asian people are
criminal and all "white" people are good, you have to say that a "Most
Wanted" site featuring almost all Black or Asian people gives a very bad
impression"

Yes. If you are narrow minded to think just that.

"One could argue that the police are being rather naive, or even racist, as I
cannot believe that there are no White/Chinese/"name your race here"
who are just as "wanted" as the ones pictured"

Maybe not many orientals or people of other etnicities comprise the demography of that area to make a real impact on the most wanted.

Ok Guilbert, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and suggest maybe you weren't being ignorant but you certainly have a blinkered view to start this thread with an incendiary topic.

I'll be the first to admit that some black folk aren't angels and give the good ones a bad name but when it comes to the subject of race and criminal culpability you can bet it will not be an easy subject to debate or even discuss. I probably laid into you pretty hard but please take time to think before you post on such a subject. There are those out there a million times more militant than me in their thinking and we wouldnt want to get them started now do we?

Nope sorry Deuce.

The scum are those who feel they need to resort to crime.

Rich or less fortunate they are all the same simply because their actions result in victims.

It would probably be very similar to a roll-call for the House Of Commons, or the national association of headteachers if my last boss was anything to go by.

Immigration is good. We have bloody loads of job vacancies, so many in fact it's difficult to imagine how things keep going.
Asylum is where most of the shit hits the fan though. As someone already said, I always thought international law states that you must plead asylum in the first safe country you reach. Now, if someone is coming over land from Bangladesh, then there's no way in hell that an ISLAND on the far side of Europe is the first safe country they've been in. It's just so many people have heard of Hotel Britain, with it's capital Londonistan, where the streets are paved with benefit cheques, that it's the only place they'd even consider pleading asylum.
As it is, I still think we're letting too many people from very different backgrounds into the country too fast, and then pandering to them all when they get here.

I suspect that one of the causes is the belief that Britain is the best place to head for. Whether thats true is another matter.

The one thing the 3 destinations offer is a higher standard of living & more freedom

The UK,USA & Australia are hugely under populated when you compare them to say Indonesia,India/Pakistan or Nigeria

I can remember seeing vision of some Asian Migrants landing on an Island to the North of Australia and instead of being greeted by a welcoming party they were chased back out to sea by a mob of hundreds wielding machetes.

As everyone by now knows your first port of call on illegally entering Australia is a detention centre now.At least we let them land

While I don't agree with the current foolhardy set-up of keeping those that are to be deported with those still eligible to stay(sounds like Jail all over again),it has to be said that it has stopped the people traffickers in their tracks

Other laws changed as well such as no welfare to new arrivals for 2 years
which puts all the onus on you to find a sponsor in Australia or be financially self-sufficient via work when you arrive

Once a deported illegal gets back to square one I've no doubt anyone else thinking of coming out would get the message which might explain the sudden lack of new illegals

cheers

I can agree with that anyone victimising someone else makes them scum
at that moment

I disagree with the enviroment not being a factor as to why some people act badly towards others. It might not be number one(like ethics & morals are)but its up there in my book
