Doesn't matter who it is that attempts suicide, celebrity or not...it's still a cry for help.

You seem to be one of the lucky ones if you were able to pick yourself up, dust yourself down and start all over again..not many can! It's not as easy as it sounds, I guess you weren't down and out enough!


As for taking her kid away..that is a sure way to make sure she succeeds a 2nd time. When someone is so depressed and attempts suicide they can't think of anything or anyone else. I'm sure after this Gail will realise what she almost did and know that her child is worth living for. Yes, Social Services do take action, but not in all cases.

You are the one who needs to "grow up". You have no idea at all what it must have been like for Gail to have attempted such a drastic thing. A cry for help yes....but NOT attention seeking! People in the public eye can do many things to seek attention for a failing career etc. but to think that a woman with a child would attempt suicide just to seek attention...well...wake up and smell the coffee! You obviously know nothing about life.
