I'm almost loathe to say but I'm an academic historian trained at Manchester, Cambridge, Uppsala, Paris and Heidelberg. And after a couple of years as a truly pisspoor (but very highly paid) administrator we are escaping to a hopefully pleasant return to research and educating in Europe.

With four return flights a year, free house and cars. It's a dirty job but someone has to do it.
