"The dark master of heavy rock......Frank Iommi." Hmmm.....doesn't work for me. I've got one of his plectrums somewhere, he flicked it into the audience at a gig at the Cambridge Corn Exchange a few years back and a mate of mine caught it in this really bad afro' he was sporting at the time.

hi ace,yeah how could i forget U.F.O. fancy me leaving them out i believe they were based in germany in the early 70s played japan in 71,72ish had all their albums at 1 time and along with scorpions were very underated most people were going on about queen etc,the 79 single is there anybody there only reached 39?in the top 40.

Seriously, the writting in the early years by Sabbath is Frank Iommi, Terance Ward, William Ward and John Osbourne.

lol Yeh its true, ive got the LP of their debut from 69 i think and the names always make me laugh....in their early days they looked a lot older than they were just 21/22 at the time

How come if he was the manager you both (you and ozzy) worked for him? Surely the manager worked for Ozzy and the band more than the other way around and even without being pedantic about that bit its a funny choice of words "both worked for the same guy"....bit detached.
Im not doubting you - just your choice of words.
