without doubt one of the biggest tossers in ROCK history is the bellend that is richie (dont call me richy)blackmore.
deuce yeah they made a few albums which are ok,but compare them to led zep and they are pub rock.
richie is the most hated man in ROCK without doubt even more hated than judas priest and over the years has climbed so far up his own anus he needs a map and a packed lunch to find his way out.ok i will list some of his crimes against ROCK.
1, he played with screaming lord sutch(novelty band)
2. deep purple should have been called concrete god surely the best name in ROCK history
3. dun dun dun der dundunderder smoke on the water
4. sacked gillan and gave the world david the twat coverdale
5. sacked gillan 6 yes 6 more times and numerous other band members all of whom returned and got sacked again
6. rainbow without rod jane and freddy oh the crimes against humanity
7. 1984 the year blackmore gives us his "interpertation" of beethovens 9th
8. calls rainbow ,richie blackmores rainbow
9. then hes in richie blackmores deep purple
10. he is massive in germany
11. blackmores night a fucking folk group with witches and fairies .help
12.Blackmore's Night returns to Europe to play in Churches, Synagogues, Castles and Theaters for enchanted evenings of musical concerts. ROCK god no way

Blackmores history reads like a bad daytime soap opera...Can't disagree about him being a first class wanker
Big in Germany you say....so were Aussie legends Cold Chisel....seems they prefer pub rock
I agree Rainbow don't come to mind when thinking of Great Bands,
Great Circuses maybe? Probably why I waited to his "Greatist Hits" were on a Double CD and in the bargain bin for a fiver last year.
Has a some great energetic songs which are great for my exercise program
I consider I broke even.
