i agree magoo,ch 4 used to be ok yrs ago when they had film on 4 and made in britain now i hardly ever watch it.

I suppose I'll get blasted for this, but I was gratified by the new 'QI' on Beeb2 last night too: nice to see some wit and erudition instead of the usual dumbed-down collection of fart jokes, pratfalls and wall-to-wall swearing that passes for most British 'light entertainment'.
