I'm a softcore producer, I produce the softest content I can get away with. Instead of trying to push for harder, I push for softer. Softer content leads to hotter, more attractive and more committed performers.

Whatever fantasys the industry try's to promote, their are very few genuinely attractive UK girls who want to do hardcore porn and are truly comfortable with it, the rare exceptions are people like Michelle moist and Megan coxx who stand out a mile, most other girls are happier with softcore.

Put performers in a situation they are truly comfortable in and the content will be hotter whatever the strength

I agree and thats always my approach to Real Couples. Its as hard or soft as they want to do. I just shoot and fashion the scene out of what they give me and for better or worse it is always their story.

Ill admit I have filmed some questionable things but its always what the performer dictates to me. I don't know any other producers that come up on here and discuss things as openly as myself and Jim which is why i assume he is referring to me without saying its me.

You wont find anyone in all my years of shooting that was pressurised by me into doing something beyond their limits

Judging by the abandonment of the industry by really good-looking girls - yes.

Who, with anything more than a desperate need for cash, would get into the current dismal porn industry that is producing very cheap junk, good for nothing better than pirate internet sites?

Is the industry to blame or the internet? The latter is largely to blame.

No end user of porn now needs to buy it, so the industry is starved of money. Producers can only offer stronger and stronger stuff featuring only second-rate models prepared to degrade themselves to partake.

With apologies to both the current unfortunate producers desperately trying to make a living and the poor girls who have to subject themselves to the "take it up your arse or you'll get no work" conditions.

Brit porn really is in a dire state. The standard of girl has fell through the floor. Tats, cellulite, nasty botox and what look like DIY boob jobs. Have a look at some French stuff to see stunningly beautiful girls, still banging like a barn door but looking like they enjoy it and not just being treated like a piece of meat by some retard on steroids. The internet has democratised porn in that more people are doing it now than ever before.

I liken it to the end of Casino where Robert DeNiro cites gangsters screwed the gambling business so hard they ended up losing it to corporations that took over and suddenly no one is making money anymore

AdultWork is a good example of the`people taking porn back and with that comes the decline of glamour and production values

I reckon more people are on AdultWork than those who are actually doing porn full time for a living so its to be expected why there is such an explosion of it and I do feel the tats and boob jobs are a symptomatic uniform of youth

In other words, it is what it is and it aint going to change any time soon. I do see more ambitious productions being made, take a lok at Kendo Films, Marc Dorcel, Viv Thomas is still on top of his game, X`Art and a number of american production companies
