In the near future I want to get out a lot of $5 sites, about 100, for those who only want 5 days and 5 videos.

I update 4 videos and 5 picture sets every day and it will take 4 months before you've seen everything. There is already 410 videos and 1400 pictures sets on the site. So for $30 a pretty good deal, less than 4p a video scene.

So if you take a month off you can come back and find 120 new video scenes. Do you think 12p a scene is a bad deal?

For me the reason for the $5 sites is the surfer who wants 1 hour tonight and not for the rest of the week. Updates it's better value to work in a rotation of sites with the ones who update enough to warrant rejoining 6 months later.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea to offer both payment systems, for monthly full access to the site and also the scene-by-scene method.

However, the scene method may work out quite expensive after a while as I suspect the price attractive to consumer may prove prohibitive for producers. So it's a good shout from Paul to offer a cheaper trial style period, where you can pop into the site every couple of months and collect the updates.

Yes i think its a good idea to have different payment options. But in recent years the consumer profile of the porn customer is changing. (Thank God) Many people now do not want to download everything on a site and flee, they actually want to wait and savour different scenes, it's all part of the fun. I can totally understand this. Many years ago, I used to be a "Porn Locust" and I remember going through over 100 films, all in fast forward and probably found about 2 minutes of erotic content in the whole lot, I ended up dumping the whole lot in a skip. So in a way, more becomes less.

It's the same principle with soap operas, I mean why do episodes, why don't they just release a whole year of Eastenders all in one go and save the trouble of scheduling etc, it's because people want to wait and see.

My site is going to be download per scene, I did toy with the idea and it may not work out, but I do believe this is the best option for me at some point I may offer both but at the moment, I think pay per download is the way to go.
