Yeah that's a good point qwerty and also a pretty interesting one. No doubt in the end max did make money because of that show, sick but that's human nature so what are you gonna do ?

'Sleeping boy' said that it seemed like everyone came out a winner except for Felicity, no true. Dick nasty actually had to make a trip to england to see his family very shortly after the show and nearly got his head kicked in, several times while he was in the UK because of it which was pretty frightening I'm sure.

One of the reason's that you have not seen me in more mainstream programs or press in regards to the adult industry is because I have always been very careful to avoid doing anything that put's a bad light on either myself or the biz which is why I was so annoyed that I had found myself involved in that story. I remember a show that they wanted me to come and do in the UK, it was some new game show, and the contestant had to answer some questions and then somehow at the end I revealed I was a porn-star, only problem was they wanted to make me downgrade myself as much as possible to the point that I was almost dressed in rags and then reveal it.

So I said no, if they had wanted to attached some fake warts with hairs growing out of my face and a few scabs I would not have been surprised...LoL! . In hindsight it probably would have been pretty funny but at the time it seemed like a bad idea, making me look like a skank and then revealing I was in porn.

On a more serious note I had a nasty situation occur when Jerry Springer were shooting in England where they tried to totally set me up and were aiming to do something that would have had a very bad effect on me and my family and would have been upsetting. Luckily we caught it before it went to far but if it wasn't for my friend realizing what they were trying to do then I would have looked like a complete cunt.

Lay, you are clearly right to be careful of the press and tv in the UK, you will never get a fair shake from those bastards. If you are in porn they will stereotype you, all they are bothered about is circulation and ratings.

I suppose shows like "Porn, a family business" can be made in the US because the industry is much much bigger there, and that in itself gives it a sort of credibility. But the business in the UK is still very small and pretty undergound, so the press feel justified in treating the artistes as freaks. They do it because they can get away with it, there is no comeback. It does not just happen to the porn business - the press are bullies and cowards, and will always get stuck into anyone who cannot defend themselves.

As to Jerry Springer, you had a lucky escape, the dirty bastard would probably have tried to shag you. Yeuch.

I still reckon that Max did pretty well after this film came out: His profile in the UK has never been higher, and his sales are probably on the up & up too.

But thanks for the clarification on this, since this film came out it has appeared quite regularly as a topic on this forum, as most of us on here only know what we've seen on screen it's great to get some input from the people who really know... what chance is there for Leanne herself to contribute to this to get the final word on the subject?

I don't know if they showed it in the states, but somehow I've got to get a copy of this documentary. What's the name of it?

I recall here in the states probably a couple of years ago, some show about the porn industry and about a young girl wanting to get into it and being misled about a particular scene. She was told one thing about what was to happen but as she walked on the set there was a bunch of guys she wound up having sex with. They even showed some scenes with somebody slapping her (not hard) while another guy did her from behind. (They didn't show THAT). I might haave it on tape somewhere.
