The cultural question doesn't explain why there are MANY female porn stars but no male ones. Are the taboos and pressures greater for men? Hardly convincing. Secondly, stop picking on the East Asians! If you've ever seen Indian porn you'll see that they're not very big either.

in terms of the guys-they are reliant on the other parties,girls and prod company to be happy that they do the work

i dont think its just about size-more about racism and sterotyping of asian male performers as not being as good looking enough or professional enough for the male roles

I'm of Asian descent - which I've already mentioned, and speak from a standpoint, as you might appreciate, of having some cultural insight.

In some Asian cultures, and despite protestations to the opposite, women are not as empowered as their Caucasian sisters.

The (Asian) men are usually the traditionalists, the enforcers of the conservative doctrine, but who quite often have double standards - do as I say, not as I do, is where the mindset is here.

As happens in any atmosphere of continued supression there is eventually rebellion - especially when it's happening in a more liberally minded society - therefore the women, supressed for years, go in the opposite direction, throwing all those old values out of the window - and who could blame 'em?!!

That is one realisitic reason, in a nutshell, why there are more Asian women than men in British porn.

Didn't expect to give a mini-lecture in basic sociology and cultural studies - but there you go!
