I read that they are going to come round your house and switch your TV/PC off. White there is something for you to object to as it seems by your many post you are a professional at it.

Blocking the internet is just not a viable option in a western country that needs to be connected to the world. It works in countries like Saudi Arabia and China where they have invested in huge censoring proxies, but it wouldn't work here. European Human Rights would come into it and could be evaded anyway by anyone with a small amount of technical knowledge.

True
But a guy like me Joe Public would with no technical know how would not.

Sorry Phil but I have read this line a few times and I can't understand what it is you are saying. I think you meant to say While rather than White but even then what am I objecting too and what am I a proffessional at?
I've been on here just a couple of days so I hardly feel I'm a pro and I watch porn daily so I hardly feel I'm an objector.

Your imediate ans was black, do some research before making statements some of the best brains in biz read and post here and many are punters. R18 is a video/DVD act nothing to do with sat/cable or any other broadcast. If you want to know something make it look like a question rather that objecting then waiting to be put right. Who really wants Euro sats the punters want British porn thats what sells. Terry, Marino, Ben and every other British producer will have space on their own British porn channel, like I have said I just spent 2k plus VAT on a shinny new board which arrived this morning, if you have broadband and BT tell us 95% will have 1meg upwards by end of year (with a plan to go as far as 15meg next year) you can get streaming porn to your TV real soon.

"Your imediate ans was black"

Well you said hurry up before its too late and I said for what! If thats Black I bet you take bad news really well.

"R18 is a video/DVD act nothing to do with sat/cable or any other broadcast"

So in that case the sittuation with R18 offcom and Sky, TVX, Adult Chanell at the moment is pointless. OK I'm cool with that.

"If you want to know something make it look like a question rather that objecting then waiting to be put right"

Now I'm getting a little bored as I asked before what did I object too?

"Who really wants Euro sats the punters want British porn thats what sells"

I'll talk about the Hot Bird stations and they already shows a large percentage of British films and Media sat are already promoting a new chanell specificaly for British films.

"I just spent 2k plus VAT on a shinny new board "

Many posts ago I did say well done at least you are looking at new areas but my question is then in porn is 2k considered a lot of money?

Phil you seem a bit jaded by life so I hope your venture goes well for all those around you sake.

"So in that case the sittuation with R18 offcom and Sky, TVX, Adult Chanell at the moment is pointless. OK I'm cool with that"

what situation movies do not require any classification to be transmited, you can be procecuted for transmiting an 18 if someone complains. they are only guidlines as OFCOM have not yet made any new decisions, well appart from procecuting Playboy and threatoning everyone else regular. Seems plain to Playboy play anything to strong you get fined. Thats a fact.

I tell you we are watching it on a 52" screen you tell us how bad it is,,,so does that mean when we get a good TV in our cinema it will get even better. that sounds objectionable to me
We tell you the only way to block IPTV is to block the internet you tell us its in order, that sounds objectionable to me

?2000 for one capture board in any buisness is steep

we the producers are telling you Sat does not work for us because like DVD it is pirated like crazy and people do not want two dishes or movable ones and why give their money to SKY or hotbird when its the Ben's and the Marinos that should be recieving it. SKY has held the world to ransom for many years because there was simply nothing that could compete, non of these delivery methods Sat/Cable even terestrial digital offer anything new, it cost ?300,000 for the entry level in broadcast which means local broadcasters, production studios or pornographers cannot afford to get on air. USA is lucky to have a limited public access channel system so if you stick up a mast you can get a license and have a go. In the UK the ITC were so far up their own arses with quality transmitions they allowed SKY to clean up. I owned a RSL it cost nearly 2million in debt and it had not sent a signal out of its 75meter mast. I fought everyone for it including the ITC. Broadcast for years has been denied to the masses. Look at SKY and tell me it makes any sense..Bravo, Bravo + 1 please explain why don't they just make it on demand so the program you want to watch starts when you want to watch it. IPTV does. Why do the 2million imigrants in the UK have to suffer SKY's sellection of channels why don't they transmit Australian chanells or Polish TV IPTV will. Why don't they allow Southampton, Ilse of White, Lanarkshire, Belfast and every other local TV station transmit on their 1000 channel boxes, IPTV will....
To sum up IPTV will create something, an entry level for broadcasting as low as 30,000 a year ???? where Marino can have a channel and his fans can watch his stuff even live (well 9seconds delay) you say you are into RC well HPI are already planning a channel specially for you, lets see SKY or anyone else give you that and can you get me some lower wishbones for my hotbodies I need 4. Price please

Don't forget that there is plenty of British porn on Euro Sats - but for satellite fans the real question is going to be price and whether it's subscription or ppv. I can't see the prices matching what Euro Porn channels offer (10 channels on one card) and rock bottom prices due to sheer number of channels. You'll obviously pick up those who can't watch satellite for one reason or another, but you won't convert those who are already on satellite.

"what situation movies do not require any classification to be transmited etc"

As I said I'm cool with that.

"I tell you we are watching it on a 52" screen you tell us how bad it is"

Mr Memory you aint. You replied to a post regarding screen quality and the poster said he wanted better than PCTV quality thus his current needs. You then said your 52" screen is the mutts nutts and IPTV is brill so I said rear projectors have had heavy reviews hence Raving Phil, moooow. Are you Lionel of the FARM?

"we the producers are telling you Sat does not work for us because like DVD it is blah blah blah blah blah"

So sorry I feel asleep during the self pitty sleep about how hard life is and blah blah blah blah
