Cage I?ve been reading your posts and we have gone way of the theme but it would seem you have researched and thought about this thread. You?re bang on with a lot of the stuff you?ve said and there is a lot readers can take from your posts on this topic.

Reading these posts, makes me wonder why we keep on trying to produce porn. Everyone wants it for as cheap as possible ( no harm inthat) but the performers fees have all gone up. The cost of equiptment o deliver the product keeps changing. to abide by all the laws costs money. And the budget have all gone down.
So whatever format it gets released on, the only people that will make any money are thoses that have it now, so they can capitalise on new technology and of course able to afford advertising.
If the money drops any more in this business, I know for sure it will be the end of me, and probably a few others.
As it stands there is fuck all profit out there, and I know many of the producers live close to the edge as it is.
I know this forum likes to dig companies like TVX and TAC but without there budgets to buy softcore, most of us would have never been able to produce the XXX product.
Now six years in and close to ethiopa's national debt, the future is very unsure for me, and quite a few others.
I can only hope that we can all afford somehow to stay in our chosen profession.

Wow. Such optimism. May I ask why you feel so confident that Ofcom will allow R18 at all. Secondly why do you think it will only be two weeks before R18 is allowed when Ofcom state at least the end of May before the code is published and even if it were yes to R18 there is still a two month wait before the new code comes into effect????? Regards. malcom.

I think this story is echoed by many others also and at the end of the day it?s all about operating costs and overheads. Being one of the little boys we tend to get through some of the stickier patches and being a persistent pain in the arse helps a lot some times. I am sorry to hear your desperate situation and though you don?t need it if there is ever anything you need drop us a line.
