I don't know about a "buffer zone"... I think they just want to create a climate of fear and sexual repression. There is nothing wrong with looking at a pert and womanly young body - the reason that it is attractive is that is "womanly" and fertile. Does it become wrong to look at a teenage girls and think dirty thoughts if she is 15, 16 or 17, simply because some law has stated that it is? Protection against children is all well and good, and in the case of what are children very necessary - but neither LDM or Zoe Parker (or any other for that matter) were featured in papers and magazines because they were "children", but because they had lovely womanly figures.
Once again, I fear the nanny state will dictate what is acceptable and people will eventually think something is wrong and unnatural when it isn't.

WHAAAT? I'll have to go and look at that. As far as we are concerned we have NEVER done that.

I shall go and speak to picture desk now.

hi questa
just had a look through the library and the last time we used a picture of her was 10/7/04...before the law came into force.

we may use her again but they will all be pictures done after her 18 birthday with all the documentation to prove it.

as you probably know age in the world of modelling has always been a little flexible. And while we will occasionally shave a year or two off the top end (and occasionally a decade! Hi Louise! Hi Theresa!) we will never say a girl is of age when she isn't...or the other way round!

Blimey, you gave me a scare there!

hmmmmmmmmmm. well if I'm wrong I apologise, but I would bet my house that I saw a picture of her captioned "age 18" before she had actually turned 18, but after the SOB came into force. But like I say, I might be wrong, in which case...apologies!
