Joe,
In your view of the world, is every book and every film which contains sex classed as porn? If so, I don't want to live in your world.
I strongly advise you to see "9 Songs" then compare it to porn films and you will see the difference immediately.
Similar discussions were held about "Intimacy" when it was released and the differences were apparant.

Blue,
Think "Don't Look Now" one of these - whether Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland did it..
"Intimacy" was one of the most recent UK films to break some taboos as it showed an on-screening blowjob between Kerry Fox and Mark Rylance.
There was no sexy music, no soft focus, in fact I think the scene had no dialogue. I went with a group of female friends and everyone of us found the film depressing and if anyone got aroused by it, I'd be very worried about them.
Why people see the difference between a porn film that is shot to arouse and stimulate sexual desire and a film like "Intimacy" and "9 Songs" which whilst containig sex scenes are not sexy at all.

There is never but never any just reason to show H/C action in a story of relationships. A TRUE artist will bring out emotions and detail without the need for such pornographic content. The film you describe is not a work of art but just a classy porn film. Take off the rose tinted glasses and see it for what it is..
People who enjoy such films in the name of so called art (which it is not) are just like everyone else on this forum. Liker's of porn. Admit it instead of being in denial.
