Thanks to Juicy Jo for those but they are what they are I'm afraid. Swingers/knocking shops (no offence). Surely someone might know an estate agent in or around Manc that has some empty flats, offices, warehouses, boats, garages - any BLOODY thing. I am simply staggered that this is so difficult in this country.

Dave I was an estate agent for several years, no surprises there all hate mail greatfully received. The idea of letting you into a clients house brings that scene in a fish called wanda to mind. Whilst I was a bloody good salesman selling the home owner on the idea that i was just showing them around when all thier clothes fell off and a camera crew turned up is beyond even my prowess. Having said that , and this may come as a surprise there are some right dodgy estate agents out there.

Good luck, see you Monday.

Samsung. Two points 1). It is cheaper to hire locations abroad than here the difference (of course) is the expense of getting there. And 2). If we could pay more I'm sure we would gladly but budgets here in the UK in particular just aren't enough to pay more. So your suggestion is irrelevant.

Rob - How are the owners ever going to know that there old or new house is/was/will be featured in a porno film or magazine photo set. I'm talking about empty rental houses or apartments etc etc. A clever estate agent could quite easily line his pockets by renting them out to photogs and film-makers.
I say again I am staggered that this is such a massive problem here in the UK now.

There is a guy in the UK who is a location agent as such, I will try and find his details. He has some fantastic places and some really quirky places too. I spoke to him about shooting adult stuff and he was fairly cool about it but this was solo sets rather than full-on hardcore. He was purely a middle-man as such and acted as an agent on behalf on the property owners who had the final say on what their places were used for.

You'd be surprised what is available if you are brassy enough to ask.

Samsung as anyone with any knowledge of this business knows the money is in distribution not production. Always was and always will be so unless you have a relevant comment don't bother in future please. I'm looking for help not time wasters.
