I thought clockwork orange was about the state being more violent than the 'thugs' it wants to 'normalise'. Alex the droog character was a thug who 'chose' to be a thug. The state 'imposed' goodness on him. This imposed goodness had the side-effect of ruining his love of art (Beethovens music anyway).

The film I think doesn't include the last chapter of the book.

Over the last few years, I've purchased quite a considerable number of DVDs from German, Dutch and Austrian sites. Although none of the titles could be even considered to be adult in nature (ie adult=erotica) since they tend to be Hong Kong Action and Horror Movies, I don't believe any of the shipments have ever been examined. Perhaps certain postmarks give the game away, I don't know.

Closely-related species can and do interbreed (producing, e.g. the ass/hinny, tigon/liger), which complicates defining a true species.
By which logic it ought ot be more or less 'natural' to fuck a chimp, say, but not a dog.............
And if, during the attempt, a chimp were to bite yer balls off, surely that could be construed as a refusal of consent? So, logically, if it didn't do that, it could be taken as consent................
I bet Wittgenstein never had this trouble.
