Depends on the company Tammie. Im not fussed I shoot couples but I am not at liberty to name names of those who bring in european performers and are vigilant on the source of tests.

I hear there are producers who dont work with NHS tests and one posts here on this forum occasionally.

Did you know that there are about 70 producers in the UK? most of them with websites.

It stuns me when people say there is not much work going on with 70 producers about.

even if the only usefulness of online cert is to track source of infections which it will do, then that alone is worth it's weight in gold as the source can be tracked down and dealt with promptly.

for this reason alone any model with a slight bit of intelligence will support the online cert and stop looking for all sorts of excuses

Tammie thats ok if you work in a circle of people you are familair with but my point is with new people trying their hand at this all the time, you will eventually work wth someone who has worked with some one else and the come back will be on you.

The present system doesnt allow ofr effective quarantine and while the NHS may give you free treatment it will not use its resources to quarantine the infected from the non infected.

This is how infections get past around.

producers can't just wash their hands off it either and say "well if models dont want oline certs then it's fine by me"

Think hard about it, God forbid but if a model can prove that he/she caught serious infection on your set then you can be sued for damages which could run into thousands depending on how serious the incfection is

producers have the power to be more assertive with their booking to force online cert thru

at the end of the day models will provide what their employer want or no work for them

Some models can rant on all day long about NOT wanting online cert but if their booking phoneline suddenly become quiet. They will soon get their a*ss off to get one

This the power producers have and should not hesitate to use it

Spot on Skinnydeep. We know this and while it doesnt absolve us of resposibility, our actions in terms of informing and offering incentives supporting this scheme can aslo be seen as due diligence on our defence.

If the reception is to ignore something that is beneficial to a performer for the sake of free what are we to do?

28 models were scheduled to attend that meeting in 2008. Two turned up.

We havent washed our hands of it. Just saying if this is to happen then the models should get together, form their own association and make it happen. When they do that, producers will be all ears.

No model will have a leg to stand on if trying to sue a producer. We've looked into that too. The NHS know as well that no producer or model can sue them either.

Just do what the americans have done when tyhry get HIV.....Disappear.

Thats what they do and I suspect that the same that will happen over here.
