That was a funny clip, thankyou Max.

I never have seen the problem with calling a black person "nigger" though. A welsh person is "Taffy", an Irish person is "Mick", a Scottish person is "Jock" and so on.

One holiday in Italy i got friendly with a chap from Newcastle who called me a "Sweaty". When i asked what this was he said it was short for "sweaty sock", slang for "Jock" (i am Scottish).

All good fun really!!

Would love a cunt like you to say nigger to me then watch you pick up all your teeth straight after or ask someone to fish them out of your stomach after you swallowed them.

Like i said in the first place always white people going on about racism and NONE of you have a fucking clue!

Once again straight to violence. Why can't you be the bigger person and walk away? Anybody who says that to you isn't worth the time of day so why waste your energy punching them? You're just lowering yourself to their level. I would have just as much a lack of respect for you for doing that just as much as I would the racist.

I just wish people could see that violence isn't the answer.

But it's all about being 'ard, isn't it?

Good post again mr altruist.

There's a world of difference between, say, stopping Hitler or tackling an intruder in your own home or defending yourself against muggers, and simply twatting someone just because you find them "offensive" and/or they've "dissed" you verbally.

At least I know how Quentin Tarantinos wouldve answered my question

Good job too because, if Max Tranmere wrote that part of the script he would have hit a stumbling block and the film wouldnt have been made yet for deciding in his meally mouthed way how to tackle a relatively simple question when dealing with your oppressors

150 posts later, y'all sure you aint got problem with race round here? (spits tobacco and spins on his spurs and walks bow legged out of the saloon to get on his horse)

I'm not sure if I want to see the Django film. It is apparently appalingly violent. I've seen all of Tarantino's films except Kill Bill, for the same reason, and I wouldn't have gone to see Reseviour Dogs in the early-1990's had I known how grim that would be. Apparently the director Spike Lee has condemned the Django film. I honestly believe Tarantino has a perverted lust for blood and guts. I think he would be a very weird person to know.

I'm not sure why he has cast Leonardo Dicaprio in this firm. He is a current and very contemporary Hollywood actor. Tarantino often goes for the ironic, kind of 'out there' castings, in his films. He would be being more consistent to how he has done things previously if he had cast, say, Don Johnson from the 1980's cop show 'Miami Vice' in the lead, or maybe someone who played a minor role in 'Dallas' in the 1980's or in 'Batman' in the 1970's. I notice from that clip that he's cast the guy who played the evil Nazi in 'Inglorious Basterds' for one of the roles in this film. Maybe that guy was having difficulty getting work.

I think Tarantino's best films are either Jackie Brown, Pulp Fiction, or Deathproof. If you edit out the appalingly graphic car crash scene from Deathproof it's a great movie. Tarantino recently disowned it though, saying it wasn't very good after all. The only one of his films he's disowned.
