Is Spaffer Johnson calling his new plan for mass testing "operation moonshot" because that's where most people's nearest testing centre is going to be located?

"UK signs first major post-Brexit trade deal with Japan"

This is great news as it may boost GDP by up to 0.07% which will easily compensate for the estimated loss due to No Deal Brexit of 7.6%.

Trade with Flag of Japan:
2% of UK total
Trade with Flag of European Union:

Value of trade with Japan ?13bn

Value of exports to European Union ?273bn

Estimated value of Japan deal 0.07% GDP

Estimated loss to UK of No Deal 7.6% of GDP

The test-and-trace system is still in ?shambles?, with some struggling to book appointments for their children who have developed symptoms since returning to school.

One Brighton primary school teacher had tried to book a test for her three-year-old daughter since Friday morning, with the only option offered in Aberdeen more than 600 miles away.

It comes after the health secretary, Matt Hancock, pledged on Monday that no one should have to travel more than 75 miles each way to get a test.
