Accordin to the GNR LIES CD released in 1988 containing

1986 Reckless Life,Nice Boys,Move to the City,Mama Kin(all live)
which was released in the same material from the 4 track released in 1986 under the title 'Live?!*' Like A Suicide'

1988 Patience,Used To Love Her,You're Crazy,One In A Million

Technically you could say AFD wasn't their debut

Does a 4 track count as an album or a singles collection

Then add on that it was all live

Yeh thats it 1986 and 1988 but I remember somewhere all those tracks were written before AFD - not that, that affects what we are discussing.

The 4 track would have to be an EP which normally would be considered a debut I would think but I reckon they crawled through a loophole because it was both live and included cover/s

Good job too - as AFD HAS to be up there as one of the all time great debuts and probably the best in rock music...

PS - I wish I had a full version of that early sloower verssion of You're Crazy - it sounded really nice slow I recall but never downloaded the whole thing

I knew the Scorpions were Rudolphs band but as I hadn't heard much of UFO and none of MSG I just mentioned The Scorpions....2 brief stays by Michael

Must update my old records of theirs to CDs

Speedy's Coming is sounding a little worn

Still in my Masters of Metal it says Michael is arguably the best guitarist to come out of Germany a claim even Rudolph would agree with

Coked to the eyeballs-nice

I thought it was because his pilots licence had expired

I've never considered EPs debuts

Debut singles collection but not Album

Whichever way you look at it AFD is their first full album

Any truth in the Rocket Queen rumor.....that the girl moaning and groaning was having sex with Axle in the studio?

You mean the slow version of GNR LIES I assume?

It seems that most of the 1988 stuff was borderline acoustic IMHO

Good for you Steve56

Mine were Volume 1 & Volume 2 Greatist Hits

I'm cheap like that...bypass all the albums and wait for the studio to put out a best of
