Hi Zantman

On these videos, does Fiona know you are selling them and did she sign a model release.

Lots of models work to higher than their published limits but not for publication or forum discussion, so just wondering what was agreed with Fiona

Hi M25

No I am not a White Knight, never have been and never will be. The reason for my post is simple, in the past as a amateur photographer I have shot several models at above their advertised levels on the understanding that the images were for my own use.

Now I have never revealed in discussions with others or in posts on various forums who the models were and their privacy is respected.

Where a model has worked over her limits, and is outed, this does tend to have the effect that other models who may consider working over their limits are reluctant to trust the photographer.

So for these reasons I have made the above post

FOUR attempts to Justify your self interest . Trustworthy , mmm ?

As an amateur, do you take the images by leaving the camera set to "P" or auto.

Anyhow , Model paid , Models need to understand , this is no longer C41 , but digital .. longer life .

The problem with models is they believe the money paid gives entailment to dictate the terms .
Freelance being paid by a contractor for the services ... Nice boobs & Butt.

Any camera owner who proclaims to have a models best interests at the time of firing the shutter , in my view is a bloody liar .

The factor is so many camera owners around there always those who claim the moral high ground to the term of imagery .Whereas within the "arty" world males of all ages just want to see the biological differences and possibly moist with a Chinese imports as lolly stick ....

I would think that the model in this post is not to pleased .
I would also think there are other models who would be please
However I bet there are no thoughts of the future consequences for the model by the contractor hiring the freelance for the next booking .

M25crash,

The technicalities of how the photographer takes photographs and video is irrelevant.
Aside from any attempt at a sneaky shot when the model is changing or otherwise not expecting to be captured they know how they are posing and what is revealed. The odd shot may get though but no more.

I agree with jonboy 100% that if there is a non-release agreement it should be honoured regardless of what the outcome would be if there was a court case.

As discussed in numerous other threads there are now far fewer models available than 10+ years ago. Core to this is content unexpectedly appearing somewhere on the internet.
