Some of the stupidities in the above post need pointing out.

In that case how do you know what their shows are like?

Which talented people in porn in this country do NOT do shows for TVX and TAC? Do know something we don't? Names please.

That has always been the case in porn.

BTW are you the same troll who seems to have a personal grudge against Phil McCavity? If so please take your tanks to someone else's lawn.

And is clunk the same person as Dickie Dido inventing support for himself? In any case repetition of the same rant is unnecessary.

No, Alec, I am not the same person as "Dickie Dido", like I said in my post i'm just someone who very much agrees with what he posted .

But I must ask you this, are you an apologist for Phil McC', and "Big" Jim ?

Just as these "porn makers" can come on here and push their wares, so I feel we have the right to come on, and air our opinions on them . I do understand that this website does rely on some of their output, hence I believe this is the reason for your defence, but that is not the issue here . The issue is standard & quality of production which, as I said, is very questionable .

These producers are just taking advantage of the starving, by throwing them bread . WE WANT MEAT !!!

You are entitled to your opinion and entitled to express it. You'll notice that my comments were directed at some illogicalities and the manner in which the opinions were expressed. This sometimes makes me suspect the motives of those who express them - not your motives if you are not Dickie Dido and apologies for the suspicion. When fair criticism descends into personal abuse it makes me suspicious. In addition some of those who criticise do not make allowances for differences in taste and assume that because they don't like something it must therefore be bad. Most of the reviews on this site were written by me and in writing them I try not to condemn something out of hand because I don't fancy the girls involved or because it lacks something I like to see. It is futile to criticise a loaf of bread for not being an apple.
From those reviews it should be obvious what I like to see in a porn video. In addition I have also posted some general opinions on the forum.
As to Phil McCavity and Big Jim I like some of their stuff but not all of it - and 'like' does not mean that I think that their stuff is the best ever made. There are many ranks of quality between the best and the worst and some users of this forum should recognise that.

Not everybody likes the same stuff. At least Phil's hardcore Vids are hardcore, tho some of his girls are barkers, but it seems to please some of the people some of the time.Personally I find
Andrew Blakes stuff boring, but a lorra people like it.The Private
Vids sell well but their stuff is a bit plasticy for me.Bring
back good looking girls with big natural tits, no tattoos or pierced clits, nipples,or noses,Shona McTavish,Stacey Owen,Millie Minchen,Mel Penny where are you?Anyhow the proof of the pud is in
the eating,Phil Mc may promote his own stuff,Violet may go down
a storm in Brighton(Bet if she went down on you you wouldn't
complain) but if people get what they want they will buy again
and at least Phil and others do give out info.Anyway thats me for now,Keep it up Alec you are doing a good job,and for not a lot of money.....P.S is there still no F in Welsh

Responding to some of the points raised - I have never said that the punters don't understand us. (I don't even use the expression 'punters' because it has a derogatory connotation).

People outside of the UK probably don't know who I am, which is fair enough as I sell everything full rights to TAC and only work for them. I'm not interested in global domination, I make programmes for British viewers. Though TAC has received a number of complimentary e-mails from European viewers who'd like to see more British programming and fewer films. Particulary in regard to my programming.

I've not jumped on a 'bandwagon', I have been a full time producer for both TVX and TAC over the last four years. This is what I do for a living. Both companies expressed a strong interest to buy my shows full rights, which is why you don't see my work being flogged everywhere.

'Verbal justification'rubbish? Does that mean when someone attacks my programming I do not have the right to respond? Ja Wohl Mein Herr! (apologies to German posters).

If UK satellite tv does go hardcore, my work (and Phil McC's)will still be shown as we both shoot hard and soft. Sorry to disappoint you and I hope one day you'll get over your Sainsbury's fixation.

Finally, 'Big Jim' is a nickname I had before I came into the business - I am 6'2" and weigh 17 stone and my first name is James. Hence the moniker.

Just a point .

Let me just reply to on point in "Big" Jims, post above .

I feel if satellite did go hardcore, the competion between new channels starting up, and the established ones(TVX,TAC) would be that intense that I just feel a lot of exclusive producers would be out of their depth, and thus find themselves "struggling" in the market . All because of their lack of experience outside of TVX and TAC.

Keep up the good work, Jim.

I just wanted to say that I really enjoy Big Jim's work. It's not his fault that TAC can only show censored stuff.

I've bought a couple of the Fuck Truck vids from Soho and they are great - I'm looking forward to the nex batch coming out (particularly the one featuring the Hastings girl and he wo blonde models.)

Hopefully things will ease up on TAC as the British porn scene becomes gradually more liberal (cross fingers).

Thanks for the support Clink, I didn't realise we were only allowed to say how great all these 'producers' are. There seems to be a lot of sad 'hero worship' going on here on this forum. I'm sticking to my point Alec. If these people put themselves up for doing 'the best job in the world' then I think if someone holds the opinion that they're crap, they should be entitled to say so. As Clunk pointed out most of their stuff seems to be blatent Ben Dover rip-offs. Now don't worry everybody I'm not going to have a go at Ben, just remember how grateful you should all be, because without him you'd have nothing to copy!!!

But the whole point is it's ONLY YOUR opinion that it's crap. Many others don't share your opinion. Yes, you're entitled to express it - I'm sure Jim, Phil and others are all interested in people's opinion on their output, good and bad - but why not express it in a constructive way instead of being downright antagonistic and abusive?
