I might order from them one day. But only when the rival companies who offer better picture quality on higher grade tape stock dry up. In the mean time I will just collect the catalogues. Honestly theres nowt worse than a glossy catalogue if the company concerned insist on using poor quality video tape stock for duping their films to. And this duping is usually done on domestic vcrs bought from Dixons in the living room of a seventh floor flat in Leeds.

You've got an irritating, though valid, point Catalogue Collector. I'll put my hand up and admit that the video quality of some merchandise in recent times may not have been as good as it could have been. When your copy of the catalogue arrives you'll see that we acknowledge this point and are taking steps to deal with it. Part of the problem is that, for the past couple of years the duping has been done by sub-contractors (in an industrial unit actually) who are located some miles away from me. I rarely have occasion to visit them, so don't get to see what they are sending out. It's only when punters like yourself pipe-up that it reaches my attention, and furthermore if it's only the odd complaint here and there I have in the past simply put that down to the odd rouge tape that can slip through the keenest quality control system. But a pattern of complaints has emerged over the past few months; we recognise this and have taken steps to alleviate it.

Regarding the Dixon?s VCR's. Actually most of them are profesional Panasonic duping decks that you cannot by in the shops and cost ?800 quid each! Though admittedly they are a bit long in the tooth now.

Regarding catalogue collectors. Yes, we do have a policy of deleting those who do not purchase for an extended period. But the thing is, of late I've noticed that quite a few of those who have not purchased for a year or two have suddenly sprung back into life. Just as I was about to sanction their deletion! I have been pondering why this might be and some of the possible reasons which spring to mind are that many similar outfits to ours have called it a day and packed up. Also, the recent American/British gonzo type material that is universally offered in licensed outlets is so stupefying crap, bland, samey and unerotic, that maybe prodigal punters are returning to the fold - where at least they will be offered interesting, diverse, carefully chosen porno fare.

sadly, i ordered 'naughty shorties' (1) via e-mail to dibble & pr mann almost a month ago but have still not received it.

Well, Beaver Hunter if you would care to e-mail me privately with all the relevant details I'll chase that order up and see to it that you do received a copy of Shorties 1.

We have no outstanding orders for shorties 1 here, so if your copy has not turned up as you suggest, then maybe you should be regarding your postie with a little more suspicion.

Get off our arse? Sir, are you suggesting that we have been twiddling our thumbs these past weeks? Haven?t you seen the see the post at the head of this thread and the fabulous array off erotic material we have been preparing for you? Who do you think conceived of it all? Organised the shoots, did the deals, wrote all the blurb, did all the illustrations, created the supporting web pages? That kind off stuff doesn?t appear as if by magic, it takes, time, thought and commitment.

As I said before, we haven't forgotten about the outstanding UKS tape, indeed someone sat down last Friday to do the necessary editing - till it became clear that the new catalogue would hit the street in a matter of days and consequently supporting web pages and would need to be created and content would have to be processed to coincide with the catalogue hitting the streets. Can't do it all at once. Sorry and all that, but now the main jobs are out of the way I envisage that the outstanding UKS movie will be sorted over the weekend and ready to post out Monday afternoon. So keep the faith Rocky man.
