step carefully on this one Crimpo old boy...
right - I think the US has a reaction against cp's suggestion - hence the testosterone-charged whooping and moronic behaviour which seems par for the course in gangbangs shot there now.
In fact, of course, a man can admire an attractive bloke without necessary wanting to get down and dirty with him. But frankly in porn the performance from the man is the thing - can he get the best out of the female star? I've never had a problem with being in a room with naked men - but neither has any of them ever taken my attention off the girls!
There is a lot of repressed bisexuality out there but then we all knew that didn't we. Frankly I don't think the porn industry is the main place to hunt it out!
I have to take issue with your point here CP...

I can't say I concentrate on the guy in any real way whatsoever... My attention is very much on the girl, her facial expression, her movements, her vocals... the stud is obviously an essential part of the act, integral to the whole thing but I can honestly and genuinely say I don't consciously pay any attention to him... Hell, if I did, I reckon I'd feel pretty inferior - and who knows - maybe that;s why I don't concentrate on them...
Even when I think of films where the stud is centre stage - and I'm thinking here of Rocco films - I can honestly say that it isn't him but what he's doing and the effect he's having on the girl....
Put another way, I have been involved in the swinging scene...I am entirely comfortable with the liberated sex scene... quite happy to be naked around other men - do I ever feel inferior? No... because I don't think about the other men... I am genuinely not turned on by men...
I don't generally get the invites to the parties these days, but when I was going regularly, I have to admit that I was always conscious about where I was putting myself, If I came in physical contact with another bloke I felt uncomfortable and I'd soon move... this was something I overcame when I became comfortable with those around me and the trust developed - i.e. I learned that they were positively, totally straight too...
So I really cannot agree with you in this sense... Yes, I did and do get turned on by being in group situations, but in no way has it ever been through attention to a male - it has always been the girl who has drawn my attention - seeing the effect that, I and the rest of the blokes are habing on her.... Same goes for watching - my attention is pretty much omni-directional... the guy just a necessary extra.

Recent Private have played this up more than anything.... I think because their films are meant to appeal to both men and women, there's always lots of shots that focus on the body of the male actors.
