To be fair, although one might question the fervour and frequency with which they promote their businesses, at least they're doing so in the Promotions forum, unlike that other odious little shit who the Admins have allowed to repeatedly spam the main forum with off-topic 'Celebrity Nudes'.

Exactly. The other thing I didn't mention in my OP, was that were at least 5 more TV posts, dotted around, away from the 'bulk' in my screengrab...
Meaning that when I logged in, OVER 75% of the posts were from the SAME PEOPLE...
Like I say, I have ZERO issue with promotion - Just that its OVER PROMOTION (IMHO)
I had to goto page 2 and 3, to see if there were any new posts in the threads I was interested in, and reading the day before...
Peace

Promotion should be a fair playing field for everyone so couldn't they just add to an existing thread over a couple of days, it looks like they are desperate which has a reverse effect on new would be customers for them.
Advertising should be good & to the point attracting customers that want your product & filling the forum to stop others promoting is only going to get you grief.

not to upset the board here, as I don't know anything about the site traffic of this specific site (BGAFD) but surely this is just preaching to the converted rather than drumming up new business??? how many punters actually come to this site and take up Shebang on their adverts (apart from the punters who are already members of Shebang?)
porn is always going to be "hidden" from view, advertising won't work because people don't "need" to come to a site like this to learn about what's new in porn or what is going on this week on a specific webcam, people can just go online, go to Pornhub and watch whatever is there for a quick wank unless they specifically want to join a pornsite in which case they will go to that specific site....
it seems to me like there's a missing thread for adverts like this, because there is no central list of all UK porn sites and their update schedules etc to act as a "cheerleader" of sorts and allowing the admins/producers to promote their wares in a sort of Freeones way..... surely making a British porn site index would be a great way to bring in new people from around the world to see what the British producers are doing and also link it in with sites like Freeones as a way to promote new pages for specific models etc?

Good idea in theory but it would be like publishing a telephone directory for ATVOD to go through and pick up any sites they've missed or haven't found yet.
Why should we do their job for them?

is your nude2rude site still active? I only ask because the last update according to your update page shows 2010, so as a prospective member, it looks like the site is no longer active to me (in which case, is there any point in signing up etc)
but if there was a central database of all British sites, people like yourself could promote whether your site is or isn't active, and gain new members accordingly.... I've never heard of half of the sites in some signatures on here, which is why I feel that the British production industry is missing out on a vital opportunity for some marketing
yeah it could be used by ATVOD like that, but there's already arguments going on about ATVOD so why should such a promotional opportunity for yourselves to make a bit more money be another opportunity for people not interested to say "But what about ATVOD?"
I'm trying to offer helpful advice from a punter's perspective here.... take it or leave it, but I'm only trying to provide some options for the British industry to look into
