I'm no super hero. The cost to me is minimal. I don't drive so any shoots have to be here in the West Mids as I mentioned on the page. I can upload content to my server and give them links to download it. It's not like I'm going to be shooting full movies that will take hours to render and edit etc, the main point of this is just to give them some content that they can use to promote themselves with. Really in a way it's more of a TFCD shoot that will give them something they can use to try and find them paid work if they are genuine about getting in to the industry and are willing to make an effort to do so.

I agree with you precisely BB. This was why I expected them to pay and it wouldnt have been a mass audition.

Experience of these things has taught me for every 100 guys that apply, 30 will sign up. 15 will get cold feet before the day 8 will turn up and 2 if you are lucky will actually come through

Experience has also taught me that 1 to 1 shoots arent accurate. You need to replicate the experience of a production they are most likely to work on. Not a gonzo home made video experience.

Even then it had weird results. One only has to see my pornstarwannabeez auditions on OneManBanned for that !happy!

If youre any good you will earn a lot more back to compensate your investment and who better to do that than someone who knows where to get you that work?

I think OEJ is putting the question to me. The new guy would obviously have to foot the entire bill, whatever is required, including your hefty cameraman fee, OEJ. The only thing I personally see wrong in a guy parting with his money to audition is realising afterwards that there is no fucking porn industry anymore, lol.

On seconds thoughts I think OEJs last post was meant for you. Lol. Just tell him your offer doesn't apply to new guys unless they bring the missus along.

You can't sustain free shoots for an indefinite period as its not practical & it would be demoralising in the long run.

We do content share, edit material into usable media etc & John shows them how to use AW, Twitter, X hamster to carry on & earn themselves money. They come back to us time & again as we are useful & no other reason, yes we are friends with most of them but if there was a better avenue they could go down they would so we don't kid ourselves about being good film makers/photographers lol.

Our idea of content share is everyone earns because if they don't the chain breaks & word gets around, word of mouth is our advertising & people already know before any shoots we will also earn on the footage.
