I met him very briefly at an event in London last year and slightly embarrassed myself by coming over all starstruck. He's been a true legend of the industry all my porn-watching life and I hope he recovers to have many more happy years.

I'd like to state that I have not ever met Ron. So I can't really big myself up at the expense of someone else's illness.

Now I am confused... you think the people in here, I guess especially me... are bigging ourselves up due to Ron's illness ? Are you a troll ?
I ask as only a troll would make a comment like that... are you bored and want some drama ?
Pretty sad really, wow ! Maybe it's you who wants to be an attention whore, I guess I am making the mistake of responding to that dumb comment... but just to clarify (as others have stated) I have met Ron twice, to be fair that's no big feat and certainly not a boast... he makes himself readily available at every show...
The two times I have met him he was nothing but friendly, and in no way a diva (yes guys can be divas too) than some I have met in this industry... I genuinly feel for the guy and his health... I personally have health issues too that I am addressing... so i guess to some degree I can also relate on a personal level.
If you think simply mentioning his name is some kind of publicity stunt for my brand then you are sorely mistaken... I have met many big names in this industry, one reason being I am a fan of porn, and secondly due to being in the industry and attending various industry shows... yet I dont name drop those people... go figure.

I dont think so... I dont see how Fred's comment was offensive in any way... he seemed genuinly concerned as I think every one in this thread is... I dont see the need for Benson Media's post at all...
