What producers would be happy to just accept a text? They may as well just take your word for it.

I dont know anyone but close friends and family that would be ok taking my word on anything where their lives and health were at stake.

I've worked with Martin in th epast and he probably assumed that being in the business you would have your certs as everyone else does.

People should keep a copy with their releases in the event something happens and you can provide proof you were in the clear officially by the clinic as the inability to prove something can lead to complications but I'm getting way ahead of myself here.

If there was a good reason to attend that AITA/ UKAP meeting its to have your voices heard, needs met and agree on a standard that works for everyone. If there isnt one then it can be made on the basis of that meeting but the real need for a standard is for effective quarantining inthe event of a serious outbreak.

The day I see texting as being an ok substitute for tests in these times of occasional outbreaks is a rally bad sign for the UK adult business and leaves it open to destruction

Some good points have been made above so please do not take them personally, Paul and Terry are talking a lot of sense and thinking of the bigger picture when it comes to the UK adult industry.

oh yes totally un personal its not aimed at Nikki but the situation and who ever has been misinforming you that this is acceptable.

Well you know what guys I am happy to hear that people don't think I am to blame for this and people feel I don't care about mine or someone else health I don't want to put out the names of the people that have accepted my cert as a text message but I kid you not that this has been accepted by quite a few people.

I would also like to apologise to Bodi if he feels I have been harsh to him or have said anything about him which may have caused him offence but I was annoyed and pissed off like anyone else would have been and if he wants to work with me in the future when I have paper certs I would be more than open to the idea as long as he was because lets face it hes not that bad and at least I know he doesn't have any STI's lol

well there is no point making this bigger than this is really I have had my say and everyone understands where I am coming from and I would pathetic of me to make out as if this is Bodi's fault when its not really it was his preference thats all and totally understand the only thing that I was annoyed about was the fact that he didn't clarify everything until the night before which meant that I had no time to explore any other options to make the most of my day but like I said its all water under bridge and if Bodi wants to work with me in the future I would be happy to do so.

I have another problem now though I am trying to upload a video I have converted to wmv format for adultworks but it just won't work I have downloaded cyberduck which is something adultworks recommends for apple users but I can't understand how you use can anyone help me

It was nothing personal from me either but it high lights a problem that needs addressing that the information given to new people coming into the business lacks consistency

i use paper certs from the clinic (for me i test at charring cross . the one in hammersmith ) then on a day of a shoot I will also phone the health advisoers and have them read off on loudspeaker my test results to confirm the cert i have provided ..

with rumors of dodgy certs floating about ,and some rather laughable looking certs that look like they are printed on plain paper i like to be as safe as possible and make my fellow models i work with feel the same ..

Here;s an idea. Alaways have a current test for fake sake. Put your hands in your pockets and fucking pay for one. If you are going to earn a ?1000-00 what is wrong with you people?
