Well, then they need to get more update information about certain things

If its a "real life" couple just having sex with themselves there would be no need for condoms but people having sex with a third party should have regular full tests & wear condoms (belt & braces) neither are any good on their own but together are added protection.

Yes some will but have we all got to follow suit, do we have to act irresponsibly because someone else does...

No, no one has to follow suit. There is the concept of free will. But I'm sure people believe that they can act responsibly/take necessary precautions whilst engaging in heterosexual bareback scenes.

Personally, I would not buy/rent any material where the performers were wearing condoms.

Don't ask why I developed an aversion to the sight of condoms in use, and think those scenes are perfectly sordid, not unless you have a strong stomach.

Just my personal view.

If there is free will why have certs compulsory, we could just throw it in the air and worry what the customers want or we could try to make the industry a bit safer.
What's the point of Databanks when we can not even take the basic precautions to make ourselves and our fellow workers safe.
We have campaigned for years for the introduction of condoms and in a poll we done over 80 percent agreed they would rather use them, they are the industry and they should get a right to choose not the producers...that free will thingy comes to mind.

We set up a health working group yesterday. This has been attempted a couple of times before but there's always lack of interest in the industry until something happens.

My personal view is that mandating condoms isn't the right way to go. The first thing that would happen is an explosion in "underground bareback" titles, just like happens in the gay scene.

But for sure, the testing regime needs a good look to decide if it's good enough.
