you guys aren't thinking this out. It still could be a false positive. Anyone who comes forward now is basically never going to shoot a single scene ever again. And what is the 2nd test comes up negative? Now he/she has committed career suicide...forever. Not to mention a world of criticism, hate, and abuse online and in real life.

Yes, it could very well be a false positive, I hope it is for their own sake, but there is still a chance it will be a real positive, and I'm sorry but the health of many other performers is more important than career suicide. The longer this gets prolonged, the more risk everyone is potentially, and it's not a risk I think many people want to take.

I know Paul very well he would not have sent the e-mail unless he believed there was a need. It is not those who worked with case zero but who worked with them & so on. The Nhs will start with the first contacts & so on this all takes time, the heads up will allow people to go out and get tested now & remove a lot of needless worry.

I have not rung Paul because I am assuming half the industry already is doing that. I think the sensible thing is for everyone to get re-tested asap. I just hope the papers have not got wind of this because there will be a feeding frenzy.

Terrible news for the individual concerned. If this is confirmed after re-testing then the person in question owes it to themself and others to go public, they will not be knocked or criticised for it, not by me anyway , rather applauded and supported for their actions in informing people.
