I suppose I'll have to shell out me 35 bux++ (I think lezlove are one of those who charge more to ship than the vid costs......could be wrong, tho'): but it certainly puzzles me that les vids often seem to be more expensive than b/g stuff- even taking 'production values' into account.

Indeed. $30.00 for postage regardless of how much you order. I always get 4 or 5 at a time. Which always seems to make the parcel a suitable size for customs to start sniffing round.

Can't fault them for service though. And you can track your order online with them now.

I don't know why they're so expensive either, I actually asked Lezlove if they could price the video and DVD under $30 in our initial contacts.

The only reason I could think of for the slightly higher price is that they are dealing in what is in essence a 'niche' market. If you compare the number of producers available and the number of titles released every year, there is a massive imbalance in favour of those that produce b/g gonzo.

Because the mainstream porn distributors know that there is a never ending supply of this type of material which they can pick up relatively cheaply, I can't see this situation changing soon.

That's my tuppence worth anyway.

Do Lezlove sell any other dvd's starring UK girls?
As you guys have said it does cost $30 for postage which is near enough the cost of the disc may as well order more than one.
I Dont buy that many lesbian discs but any dvd that's got Pixie in I've gotta buy so any recommendations of good disc's which they do would be appreciated.

I, too, developed the suspicion that they were ramping.....

I have just sent an e-mail to Lezlove asking if they can do a special postage rate for UK customers.

However, as they are several thousand miles away and I am just one of many producers they deal with, I don't know how sympathetically they'll view my request.
