Don't what to tell you mate. My associate and I haven't had many problems getting replies and the site has worked perfectly for us since 2007.

So how come my toned down application was rejected?
To be perfectly honest I dont need Purestorm as I find my "girls" elsewhere but I dont like set ups that use Big Brother tactics and they are a prime example...fuck me who is worse...Fiona Cooper or Purestorm?Theres only one way to find out....".FIGHT"

With apologies to Harry Hill hahaha

Your big mistake is assuming that the new girls are or want to be models. I bet only a tiny minority of the membership, that's photographers and models, whether amateur or professional, are actively pursuing shoots.

I find the response rate varies to be honest, as with most things some Models are great at responding others not so hot.

I have found that tracking which e-mails have been read is a useful tool (you know they stay a yellow line in your sent box until they've been read I assume?) any that have been read but not reponded to within a day or so are usually lost causes as are any that haven't been read within a few days.

I have to admit I find it surprising when you're offering work within a models levels for decent rates that the response isn't better in the current financial climate, just one of those things I guess!

very impressed by your work by the way Nikonman, hope you find a good model or two before you hibernate for the winter :)

I wish to thank everyone for their replies to my post.

After reading all of them the lack response from the models seems to be a common thing. I thought it was me but if top togs like Sharkmad and others are getting the same maybe it's not.

A lot of the models could well take a tip from top model Natalia who sends you numerous emails and other messages to make sure the shoot goes ahead without any problems. She deserves all the work she can get.

You could well be right, but you would not think some would go to the trouble of putting a casting call up as well, and then not replying.

PHMike,
Yes it's a good idea that you can see if your post has been opened.
I have to give credit to P/S for that.
I notice that quite a number of mine have not been opened,.

Masie, Sindy, Ashleigh,
Thank you for your offers of a shoot.
I will contact you all directly via email.
It would look bad if I did not, has I have been moaning about not receiving replies.

This forum could well be a better place to advertise for models than P/S has there was a much better response. It will be interesting if any other photographers will put a post up.

The other funny thing is since I put this post up I have received offers of shoots from a couple of models via P/S.
Could it be coincidence or the power of this forum?.

Thank's Nicola,
I will see what I can do.
It was a pity we missed you at the charity day.
I wonder if there will be a Christmas party shoot this year. That was the last time I saw you.

Damn that reminds me I have to reply to a model who emailed me.

She wanted to work with me despite being 400 miles away.

I am interested as to why she emailed me.

I have always emailed models who have lots of good feedback. (I always read it all carefully).

Only emailing two models and had both reply promptly.

I think that some members are good and their feedback shows. They are the models to use.
