Given there is less work around I am really surprised that except for a totally unforeseen and unavoidable reason models let anybody down, let alone someone as reputable as you.
No doubt word will spread through your contacts.
As posted on this thread one producer has thrown in the towel for a while at least
.......but I'm really not in the frame of mind to be shooting.
I'm now going to take time out.
I purely arrange shoots for my own interest not publication.
Last year I was messed about twice and together with money being tighter because inflation far greater than my wage increases for this year and last and my cash ISA, which forms part of my pension planning actually loosing money in real terms as interest rate 3% but inflation rate 4.5%, I seriously considered not bothering trying this year.
So far I have had two good shoots this year.
However the model for what should have been the first shoot of the year cancelled on the morning of the shoot......
This time I used the day usefully and at short notice I arranged with another model as I had the time free a week later, but sometime it is a few weeks before I have another opportunity.
I am still intending a few more shoots this summer.
However particularly if days booked as holiday from work or weekends when I had the option to do something else but put that off get wasted I too will give up at least for a while.
The result is some models will end up reducing work opportunities for all including the super reliable ones.
In principle I would work with models who have been reliable again but somehow another shoot needs to be significant different rather than essentially a repeat of a previous shoot.
