Wow... I could write a book here... But will try and keep it fairly short...

1999... if you had a site then you was a rich man... 2002 if you had a site then you could make good money easy... 2005 if you had a site then it was tough (especially if you had a site in 2002!) 2011 it's nigh on impossible to make good money without the following... a whole lot of hard work, a whole lot of luck and a whole lot of knowledge on all the little tricks of the trades !!!

So that poses the question why I am still producing sites like they are going out of fashion... lol. Maybe I will answer that in a bit...

First of all... before you give 50% to anyone you need to know what they can do for you... what are their success stories (and hopefully thats not fictional stories) Some guy mentioned 1500 uniques (now not having a dig at him) but 1500 uniques a day is nothing... it if lucky would equate to 1 sale a day (not going to make you rich !)

You need a cash program to attract affiliates, do you have one ? For example we run big boob sites like www.PrincessRio.com and www.LouisaMay.com but our cash program is www.BittieBucks.com this is where affiliates can get promotional tools like FHG's... if you dont have FHG's your fucked by the way...

So get yourself a cash program... get your self promotional tools... and then promote your self on the adult boards (not sure if I am allowed to mention them on here so email me if you want to know steve@bittiebucks.com

It's possible your site could do with a re design as well... but thats not to say it wouldnt convert as it is... How frequently does your site update ? If it doesnt update once a week (as in 1 pic set and 1 video) then it's going to be hard to attract members and most definetly keep them...

Keeping them is the biggest key... let's be honest if you had 100, 200, 500, 1000 rebills every month then your made... that's before you make new sales... so retaining members is a key to the success of any site...

So back to who you get on board (by the way I am not touting for the work) can they show you success ? Can they let you log into a CCBill back end and show you the sales they make ?

Talking of CCBill... I would not go with Verotel... to me a huge gamble ! I would personally suggest Epoch, with a cascading bill to CCBill... or the other way round... Certainly CCBill as the best affilliate back end, you will attract so many more affiliates with CCBill guaranteed...

OK that's all I can think of for now... plus my Indian Take Away is getting cold... come to Milton Keynes and buy me a curry and I will let you have my entire 10 year knowledge lol...

I seriously think a bunch of you smaller sites should merge your sites into a cash program... if it's double dutch Paul come down to Milton Keynes... as I said a Curry and I will explain all lol...

Look at sites like Only Tease and LadySonia and their cash programs... you will see success companies ;) It's hard as I said, it depends on your expectations... but most of what I said in my original post is a good starting point...

Paul.

If you want some advice let me know. 75-80% of my sign-ups are direct, not through affiliates.

I would like to increase the number of affiliate sign-ups as well as increasing the direct ones, but am wary of advice that is going to be dispensed in a curry house.
