I have to add to your comments and say well done to the West Yorkshire police for catching them. It's not very often that you hear of anyone getting caught. From your post it sounds like kids.
Did they break-in while you were out?
Unfortunately they will only get their wrists slapped and told not to do it again, but there again that could be too harsh.
I hope you were insured, and are not going to be out of pocket.

Pleased to see that you are able to share your troubles with us on the forum.
I know it can be most upsetting when things like that happen. I have been burgled three times in the past while at work.

Just seen this babe if you need anything call me in the morning after 6am you have propped me up enough times my turn to help out

They came in through open window (so yes our fault) at about 3am and did grab and run. They are very known to the police they are proffesionals and this is their living we were told its not young kids early 20s ish. But yes after years of hearing people slag of the police I was very impressed they got them.

Dave I cant think how terrible anything would have to be for me to be up at 6am but I will call you at some point xx

don't worry, opportunists, they'd never try it if they thought someone was at home.

Especially someone sassy like you you might require for example, that they did a couple of scenes or else you'd call the police

The scariest thing is that someone was im so glad they didnt try going upstairs
