Reading this I'm amazed that it's standard to pay in cash. How many people won't be declaring that as income I wonder lol? How hard is a bank transfer as an alternative? It's instant and no waiting period like a cheque.

If you trust the other parties with your bank details then have mobile internet and do it there takes about a minute.

Paypal takes even longer to get into your bank than a cheque!

I must admit that the one time i was paid a cheque- by a main company, if i hadn't had a job the day before i'd have barely had the cash for the petrol to get me home (I was a few hundred miles away).

I didn't know it was payment by cheque til i'd got there and I know one of the other models on the shoot had to find a cheque cashing centre to get home,

I think people that do shoots like this are not real pros are they, there chancers, not paying a model is illegal surely?

It would never occur to me not to pay a model, unless she wanted tfcd or content share and it was agreed before hand!

If any model I know had this problem of not getting paid, I'd be happy to pay such people a vist to help "collect" her fee!

Ah, i see, so the company who wants the footage dont pay the middleman they dont pay the talent, that is bullshit and fucking bang out of order, there not being paid its not the models faulty, she should still get paid regardless of if the middlemen dont, its up to them to get the cash from the requester for there side of the bargin, this is the sort of thing that really pisses me right off, the industry in a mess as it is without this crap, and if its true Billy69 what you said about so shoot, Ben Dover, Steve i really hope you read this and do the right thing to put it right. AAAARRRRGGGGGGGGGG !!!
