Thats too bad as some of us do POV professionally and I never had to explain myself to models as they have always known that this is for publication professionally, and I would like to think after 6-7 years that people at least know of me and know I am not that guy with just a video camera.

I live in Durham and shoot in Darlington. I was contacted myself from Soulsure, but I guess once POV/GONZO came up it didn't sit well, and that's fine we all have our limits but I haven't and never want to to be compared to a guy who has a video camera just for fuck, there are cheaper ways to get and personally if I look back on the money I have spent over the years, if it was just to get some action I'd cry coz I am talking serious money, it has and always will be a business to me. Just to clear up for those who may not know me I'm only 29 I am not a 60 year old with a video camera. I always defend my style as I love this format in porn and have never been into high end polished porn and never will be. I'm sure my Now Paul Jones at least knows I am ok to work with.

For those who are going from the industry, see you all at the UKAP party next month, I will be there a day earlier in London as I have the meeting to attend on the Friday before the actual party

Present company excepted though BBWHoney you know I'm a professional POV producer/performer though right? We have chatted about work and stuff and you came to me so must think I'm ok lol.

How are you by the way.

Paul

Hey Paul!

Yeah of course I know you are a good guy :)

I think I need to clear that up, POV I have done before and have no problem with - I quite like the outcome too as it makes the viewer feel like they are on the giving/receiving end. I have no problem whatsoever with proper POV - and defo no problem with you Paul sweety!!

The thing about this one I speak of was that the "photographer/producer" contacted me and wanted to send the "stud" to my house for an hour of "fun" to see how we "get on" and then if all is well book another "session" with the "photographer/producer" there too lol. So basically he was asking if he could pay me to have a guy come round my house and fuck me without a camera. It was kind of the fact that there was no POV taking place that bothered me haha!

Love ya all xx

Yeah I knew you would understand darling. I was saying it for everyone else benefit and you have explained yourself very clearly and proved what I have said all along.

I have worked with models who say they don't do POV and they have came to me for work, I hadn't contacted them in the past because they clearly state no POV so fair enough, but they said this to stop the chancer's.

They prefer to seek out the professional POV producers as its a lot easier and a lot less e-mails from people who just want to film a private video.

It does seem a bit odd and models can tell that this isn't the way to put yourself across, as you have described there was nothing explained in the correct way and that's without going into the fact that this does not happen. The worrying thing is if a new model gets contacted by people like this, they know no different.

I have never had to explain myself, why i do this style, why I am ok to work with, professional, that it's for online content to be purchased or whatever but there does seem to be a surge in chancer's as of late and I wonder why?

There always has been but seems to be worse and if I have to defend my bread and butter then I will, I won't be tarnished with the same brush as them. Now the people who do this type of thing maybe reading this may think, who the hell do you think you are you do POV and you are just like us no better.

I am no different that anyone else, everyone is equal and that is they way I was brought up, but what makes me different is how I handle myself professionally in this industry and with me you will always get a fair rate of pay, full details of what is involved that will not chance on the day, i will not ask for extras, i will not ask you to do a test shoot with the promise of work at a later date, ask for a friend to join in, pay you ?150 for 3-4 hours work or even turn nasty on you when you ask for proof of my work so in that way yes I am better than that.

I had nothing when I started and I could of very well of been that guy, but I researched into rates and all the basics first, and luckily always got a mode release form signed even though at the time I didn't realise I would want to sell the content at that stage and make a career out of it. But i would never of been that guy who just has no respect for anyone.

So I just built up my rep and material that eventually became pauls-spunksluts.co.uk that went offline nearly too years ago, and now I am busy with me re-launch/re-invention.

I shoot using a 2-3 camera setup, the POV cam is the main point of view but the other camera's are from different angles shooting the far away shots to show it's really me doing it all, it takes a while to sync all the angles in premiere and edit it so technically it's not as easy as capture one camera into some video editing software, add a title and then bang scene done. I like to add that little bit extra.

Bottom line I know models who have worked with some lovely private collector's and it's a credit to them for their respect for the model, but there aren't many out there, and I guess it's human nature to try and get things cheapier right?

But if you were a business making your crust with this, you wouldn't risk it and take the piss as people can talk.

So there you have it, I hope this is the last time I have to stand up for my work and why I do the style I do.

But what BBWhoney has said is 100% right there's POV published and POV amateur and the two aren't the same, and people have to start somewhere, I was there once, but it's how you put yourself across and what you offer that makes or breaks you as a new producer or even a chancer. If you are a gentlemen about it you may even pull it off and get to fuck a pornstar on camera, but i doubt it without the basic manners.

POV rules

I'm out

That was well said Paul, forget styles etc its the person/producer/gonzo who builds up a rep in this industry & you are doing well in that department.
If you can shoot a girl & make them feel at ease then thats the battle won, we have come across some Am & Pro producers who you wouldn't piss on if they were on fire but there are plenty of others we would move heaven & earth to help so being nice is important.
Girls sometimes ask us if its alright working with amateur togs/film makers & we say check them out if you can or otherwise take someone with you, if a tog/film maker says no to this avoid them...its easy & it works well.
The main thing to remember is that everyone starts somewhere & are unknown at first but always give these guys the same grace as a big producer because one day they might be.

Paul and Kim

Well said, everyone deserves a chance and you have to start somewhere - show respect and you will receive the same in return.
