I've watched your posts this week talking about starting up a business and not once have I seen you ask about TALENT.

"Is ?20.000 enough of a substitute for talent and ability when starting a porn production company?

I'm sure you're a great guy and very well meaning and I don't mean to sound like I'm making any assumptions about your general level of intelligence and professionalism - and I mean this sincerely. But in case you are offended and think I'm talking out of turn then I'll say this... I read posts like this all the time and feel that assumptions are made about people in this industry all the time. Your posts are examples of this. It annoys me that people think that all it takes to be a male performer is to be in possession of two legs and a cock - or for a model all you need is pouty lips and the desire to fuck on command. Somehow people have got it into their heads that running a website is about throwing money into the air and watching it fall in the right direction.
Here are the questions to ask:
How do I shoot or purchase material and ensure that the supply is quality, market appropriate and regular?
If I am shooting material, where will I get my performers?
What contingency plans am I likely to need for people and suppliers letting me down?
How will I run a website (if this is the route I am going down)?
What security should I look at if it is a member site?
How will I actually market my product in order to recoup my investment?
How will I find distributors if I go down this route?
Am I aware of all the legalities involved with this industry?
Am I prepared for the legal requirements and restrictions involved?
Some of these questions involve financial input but most require knowledge.
Ask and we will answer - you might find out that I'm right. You may also find out just what you need to know to have a successful business at a fraction of your proposed cost.
